In mesmerizing images, accompanied by Evgueni Galperine's enchanting soundtrack, he connects historical locations such as the ancient ruins of Baalbek, Turkish cities destroyed by earthquakes, and bombed Ukrainian buildings. Central to the film is a landscape project by architect Michele De Lucchi, who, with his 'magic circle', a place where people are not welcome, advocates modesty towards nature.
