Popis (anglicky):

Stanley Kubrick called it "the most terrifying film I've ever seen in my life" – no small compliment from the creator of The Shining. This psychological thriller by George Sluizer is certainly disturbing, oppressive, and enigmatic. The Vanishing is a nail-biting account, full of underlying tension, about a sudden disappearance and its consequences for those left behind. Rex and Saskia, a young couple in love, are on vacation. They stop at a busy gas station and Saskia is kidnapped. After three years without any sign of Saskia, Rex begins to receive letters from the kidnapper.
