Popis (anglicky):

Jim Breuer – Heavy Metal Comedy is a high-energy stand-up comedy DVD that captures the comedian’s fusion of rock attitude with observational humor. Blending the spirit of heavy metal with storytelling, it showcases Breuer’s animated stage presence, physical comedy, and vocal antics in front of a packed audience at New York City’s Irving Plaza. The genre is stand up comedy, but the performance is steeped in rock culture, from its pacing to its theatrical delivery, giving it a distinct “metal” edge while remaining firmly comedic.Released in 2002, the DVD highlights Breuer’s talent for character work and impressions, including his well-known mimicry of classic hard rock and metal frontmen. The show leans into themes of nightlife, family life, and the absurdities of everyday experiences, all filtered through the lens of a die-hard metal fan. Bonus content, such as a lengthy heavy metal documentary segment, expands on the rock-and-comedy concept, offering fans both extended laughs and a deeper look at the culture that inspires Breuer’s act.
