The Devil Wears Prada 2 is a 2026 American comedy-drama and the sequel to the 2006 hit film, directed once again by David Frankel. The film takes place about twenty years later and follows Andy Sachs, now an acclaimed but recently fired journalist, who is brought back to Runway magazine as the new editor of the Features section, just as the publication is facing a scandal, financial turmoil, and the collapse of traditional print media. Andy is reunited with the formidable editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly and must find a balance between real journalism and the demands of haute couture, strained loyalties, and a ruthless new corporate environment. The film explores the waning power of print, digital disruption, and the question of whether integrity can survive in a click-driven world, while reviving the sharp humor, glamour, and mentor-protégé tensions of the original.
