Popis (anglicky):

Batman is a 1989 superhero film directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne, a millionaire who secretly fights crime in Gotham City as Batman. The city is gripped by fear and corruption when gangster Jack Napier, played by Jack Nicholson, is transformed into the psychotic, clown faced Joker after falling into a vat of chemicals. Batman must stop the Joker’s murderous reign while protecting photojournalist Vicki Vale, portrayed by Kim Basinger, and maintaining his own secret identity. The film blends a dark, gothic visual style with comic book noir, reimagining Batman as a brooding, haunted hero and setting the tone for modern superhero cinema.
