Alto Knights is a 2025 American biographical crime film directed by Barry Levinson. The film revolves around the rivalry between influential mob bosses Frank Costello and Vito Genovese in New York in the 1950s. After Genovese orders Costello's assassination but the attempt fails, Costello decides to retire from the underworld. Genovese's ambition to gain leadership of the Five Families leads to a bloody power struggle and far-reaching consequences within the mafia. The film includes a depiction of the infamous Apalachin Meeting, where a large gathering of mafia leaders is raided by the police. Robert De Niro shines in a dual role as both Frank Costello and Vito Genovese. Other leading roles are played by Debra Messing (Bobbie Costello) and Kathrine Narducci (Anna Genovese).
