Popis (anglicky):

F1: The Movie tells the story of Sonny Hayes, a former American Formula 1 talent who had to give up his career after a serious accident. Years later, he lives a nomadic life as a racer-for-hire, struggling with addiction and personal problems. His old teammate and owner of the APXGP F1 team, Rubén Cervantes, asks Sonny to return to Formula 1 to save the struggling team. APXGP is last in the world championship and needs to win a race to survive.

Sonny agrees and meets the ambitious rookie Joshua Pearce, technical director Kate McKenna, and team manager Kaspar Smolinski. Joshua is arrogant and afraid of failure because his place is at stake. Sonny struggles with modern technology but brings valuable insights and old-school training methods. During the races, conflicts arise between Sonny and Joshua, which develop as they learn to work together. The team undergoes technical challenges and controversies, including a complaint about illegal updates to the car. Sonny is involved in an accident and is kicked off the team. Meanwhile, Joshua is forced to adjust his driving style and grows in maturity. The climax takes place during the season finale in Abu Dhabi, where the team puts everything on the line. Sonny scores his first victory, saves the team from being sold, and makes peace with Joshua and Kate.

The film shows the harsh reality of Formula 1, with intense races, personal dramas, and the struggle for success and loyalty in the world of top-level sport. It is an emotional and visually impressive story about second chances and chasing dreams.
